To confirm that a skilled trades professional or apprentice can legally work in a compulsory trade, enter:

  • all or part of their first or last name, or
  • a Skilled Trades Ontario ID/Account Number.

Public Register

Contact the Ministry’s Occupational Health and Safety Contact Centre to report:

  • trade work being performed in a compulsory trade by someone who may not be authorized under Ontario’s skilled trades legislation, and/or
  • work being performed in an unsafe manner at an Ontario workplace.
